Nicole Mobley Part 2
- Exhibit 233 Text messages from Feb 19th 2020
- Some of the text messages were between Mobley and Harley
- There are also texts from Mobley to her husband
- When talking to L, Mobley felt she would be able to get her to talk
- L had her name as Barbie Girl
- She said things like she didn't hurt her son and she wanted to know she could trust the fake account
- Mobley felt that she could work hard to gain her trust and get her to tell her something; Mobley said she has been pointing out the shadow on all of the pages
- A lot of people were saying it wasn't a shadow or a leg; some people thought Gannon came home, some people didn't
- Mobley could only think of going along with things and if she was on her side for the shadow she could gain her trust
- L says she needs help and can help her in return; she says it's not bad. Mobley says it's ok, L says she wants her to tell the truth
- L said "if I had did this I couldn't have gone so far and they would've found him. They are focusing on me and wasting valuable time"
- L said "someone was in the home when we got back. I gave this to police during my first interview but initially I thought he was just being defiant and going against his dad's wishes and leaving. I blacked out."
- Mobley: I didn't believe it but I just, I was waiting for a story to come; this was the first she had heard of anyone else being in the house or of L blacking out
- Previously, Mobley hoped he was just missing. From the first night she had a bad feeling
- Mobley: I can't hear the prosecutor but she said something about being a mom and knowing what's like to overreact to a situation
L: "I am beginning to think that the guy was still in the home when police came. Either way he popped back up with Gannon, so I assume they were in the storage room. He threatened me, so I put them girls upstairs to protect them"
- Mobley: who was the guy?
- L: He took a suitcase and some of our things and Gannon's things and I was crying. Then he hit me across the head; this is the first time Mobley had heard of a suitcase
- Mobley: She says she knows L is innocent and the cops do too and that's why they're being quiet; she wanted her to keep talking
- L: someone had to see him leaving with a suitcase and G. I don't know if he was hurt when he did. I was scared. Someone has to be a witness to having seen this guy. Someone had to and is scared
